PERFORMA has commissioned Danish artist Jesper Just to create his first live multimedia performance for PERFORMA05.
True Love Is Yet To Come portrays the conflict between rationality and passion in a reserved man who yearns to liberate his innermost feelings. Just explores the subject of love, and its many changeable qualities ??“ unrequited, mysterious, sentimental, and romantic ??“ through an intriguing all-male cast whose emotional nakedness is underscored by a noir sensibility.Just is working with Danish production company Vision3 to realize this large-scale production. Life-like and life-sized three-dimensional film of singers, as well as members of the Finnish Men??™s Screaming Choir (Huutajat)—will be projected alongside a live singer, Baard Owe.
