American artist Bruce Pearson received a B.F.A. from San Francisco Art Institute. Pearson??™s large-scale paintings with a deep relief quality, from being painting on Styrofoam panels, appear as color-saturated three-dimensional landscapes. Pearson??™s abstract paintings include drawings, photographs, and found text mined from the mass media and the Internet, that are worked over to the point of indecipherability. He has had exhibitions throughout New York at Ronald Feldman Fine Arts, Pierogi 2000, Brooklyn Museum of Art, Marlborough Gallery, The Rotunda Gallery, apexart, Exit Art, and White Box; and at the following, Daniel Wienberg Gallery, Los Angeles; Miami Art Museum; Locks Gallery, Philadelphia; and Galerie Les Filles du Calvaire, Paris.
